The Carbon Cycle

Carbon can be found anywhere and in all living matter. It is in plants, animals and humans. It is a natural Cycle and without it everyone in the world would die. Carbon is always on the move.

As well as in living things Carbon is found in the atmosphere though the gas Carbon Dioxide and is dissolved in water such as oceans and rivers, it is also found on rocks, shells and in fossil flues. All of the movements of where Carbon is found make up the Carbon Cycle.
Plants and trees release oxygen into the atmosphere though Photosynthesis, they store carbon as they grow. Realizing Carbon Dioxide and carbon.  Animals and humans also give out carbon dioxide when they breathe. If dead animals and plants equalities faster than it is decomposed, some of it can be compacted and turned into fossil flues such as oil, gas and coal. These flues took millions of years to create naturally!
Dead plants can also float down rivers which is one way carbon gets from the land to the ocean. Right now carbon is in Photosynthesis, respiration, compaction, transportation and decomposition. Now over to the sea.
Carbon moves both ways between the ocean surface and the atmosphere, ocean plants use all of the dissolved Carbon on the water for photosynthesis and they store it just like the plants on the land! Then the ocean plants eats these plants, leading the Carbon to get transferred again. Ocean plants and animals release this carbon dioxide through Respiration. Some ocean animals use the Carbon in the ocean to even make there shells and when they die there Carbon used shells dissolve or settle onto the ocean floor, when ocean plants and animals die, they decompose in the water.  Which all helps contribute to the Carbon Cycle. Lastly water moving between the different layers of the ocean also carries Carbon. Next Human Impact.
First, we all know that Carbon has been increasing rapidly in the last century dude to climate change, this is due to human activity especially because of fossil fuels and deforestation.  So when we cut down and burn trees they unfortunately can’t soak out anymore carbon and when we burn fossil fuels even more carbon is released into the atmosphere to run cars, more electricity, make goods and run goods which is all used in our daily lives and increases climate change.
In conclusion we all use Carbon for electricity, manufacture goods and fossil fuels. We all use carbon in our everyday life's but everybody should do there bit and cut down on these things to help safe our planet because the Carbon Cycle is extremely important for everything living that absorbs oxygen it is created by nature and it has been going for millions and millions of years. It is on land and sea and is one of natures amazing, great and important events!

Maths

My Buddy
Every Friday Room 22 go over to Room 5 for Buddy time. By buddy is 6 and he is called Jack. He has a very bright, happy and bright personality. Jack is very good at: sport, net handwriting and drawing.
I enjoy Buddy time because it is good to get out of work for half an hour and spend some time with Jack. My favourite part of Buddy time is when Mrs. Allen read to room 5 and 22 because it takes me back to when I was young and six years old!

WHAT CAUSES THUNDER AND LIGHTNING?

Thunder is caused by Lightning. depending on the nature of the lightning and distance of the listener, thunder can range from a sharp, loud crack to a long, low rumble. The sudden increase in pressure and temperature from lightning makes very fast expansion from the air surrounding and within a bolt of lightning.
This expansion of air creates a “sonic shock wave” which produces the sound of thunder; often known  as a clap, crack. The distance of lightning can be decided by the the person hearing the thunder and lightning based on to the time when the lightning is seen, to when the sound is heard! Thunder and lightning can go on for days it can travel for kilometers!
Thunder firstly occurs from strong: winds, rain, and hail. Thunder and lightning doesn’t stay in one place at a time, the clouds keep up with the wind current. Sometimes thunder occurs before rain or hail even starts! They can occur inside warm, moist air masses.  The clouds form thunder storms but sometimes clouds form a thunderstorm without them raining or hailing because they are already moist enough to begin one.
Thunder and lightning is very dangerous. lightning can strike and kill you and also start fires. Lightning can hurt anyone and kill anyone in just seconds. Like the time when a wave of thunderstorms and wind blew near the south of America last year, killing at least 16 people. Thunder and lightning is very dangerous and is something that must be avoided because it can lead to death. So keep an eye out for lightning striking houses and buildings etc! There has been a history of terrible events caused by thunder and lightning killing people and destroying things.
So in conclusion thunder and lightning is pretty amazing. It is caused by nature and bad weather and is to be avoided at all costs because it is very deadly and dangerous.
